I'm Tal Gispan,

I’m a 28-year-old artisan from Israel and the founder of Gispan Wood Art.

My journey into woodworking began during university, while studying Industrial Engineering. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion for creating unique pieces that combine natural wood, epoxy resin, and artistic craftsmanship.

During the Iron Swords War, I served hundreds of days in reserve duty across Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. That experience deepened my appreciation for home, family, and the things that truly matter in life.

When I returned home, I chose to follow my passion and dedicate myself fully to creating. Today, every mezuzah I craft is handmade, one of a kind, and built with uncompromising attention to detail.

My mission is simple: to create meaningful pieces that bring beauty, warmth, and a personal story into every home.

A Torah Pointer Dedicated in Memory of my dear friend, Captain Shay Shamriz

Captain Shay Shamriz Cohen was a dedicated IDF officer, known for his strength, compassion, and unwavering sense of duty. A gifted leader and mentor, he inspired all who knew him with his integrity, humility, and deep love for Israel and its people. On October 7, 2023, amid the Hamas attack, he led his soldiers with courage and clarity, famously saying: “If someone is needed – be that someone.” He was killed in action in Gaza on December 26, 2023, after making a life-saving decision that protected his soldiers. Shay’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the values he embodied, and the nation he defended with honor.
